I finally got an opportunity to try the trendy fault line cake and love how this one turned out and tasted. I made this cherry ripe mud cake for my daughter and me for our birthday today. I kept the cherry ripe theme going from inside to outside with a pink coconut buttercream over dark chocolate ganache and some red rock candy around the fault line.

Glamorous gold with elegant black and the natural beauty of a semi-naked cake finished with fresh roses. All these features came together so beautifully for a belated 50th birthday. There is no fondant here, just painted chocolate ganache.

Yellow to purple ombre buttercream with a little texture. I added an artificial rose for my photo as the client was adding their own topper later.

This Sweet 16 cake is far from my usual style but I love the whimsical puffy flowers and how pretty and fun the cake looks. Design found online by client.

An extra cake for Emily's birthday as her party had to be postponed due to Covid-19 lockdown. This one has ombre blue cake layers with lollies inside. The buttercream is decorated with edible petals and gold leaf. On top are home made macarons and some preserved baby's breath to add a touch of softness.

My eldest turned 30 and requested a lemon/lime mud cake with fruity macarons. The cake was filled with Swiss meringue buttercream and lemon curd and the mini macs are strawberry and passionfruit using Berry Fresh Australia freeze dried fruit powder. I've added dried calendula and white cornflower petals from Petite Ingredient
